AT LAST THE WAIT IS OVER! This is, at least, the case for those of you loyal to www.moth-man.co.uk, of course ;)

17/06/10 A GIANT SIGH OF RELIEF
The following update is brought to you from sunny Paignton in Devon: where I've been enjoying a rather smashing week's break from the madness that's not already inside my head.
Holiday or not, I couldn't resist updating with some rather comforting news: I've just signed off the galley and cover layout for A Siren Song for the Stricken; which means the next stage is going to print! So, alas, despite the trials and tribulations, the second Moth-Man novel could be out as soon as early July... and maybe, if all goes to plan, you'll be able to get advanced copies of the paperback EXCLUSIVELY through moth-man.co.uk and Authorhouse as early as the end of THIS month!
Fingers crossed- I'll keep you updated with news as I hear it. Remember, only moth-man.co.uk and Authorhouse can GUARANTEE the lowest price possible on both paperback and hardcover!
Plenty of time to re-read A Macabre Myth of a Moth-Man and remind yourself what all the excitement is for ;)
18/05/10 LIKE AN AIRPORT, ONLY MORE ANNOYING...
...by the subject title I refer to the statement 'Delays are possible.'
And
by that I refer to A Siren Song for the Stricken and a rather
irritating communication break-down between myself and the book's design
team. To cut a long story short, the 'May' release date is likely to
be pushed back to as late as July. Yes, yes, I'm aware this means my last post seems a bit redundant now, of course...
Obviously, this is a dark,
dark day for a lot of us, so I propose a moment's
silence....................................... ................................ ...............enjoy
it? Okay. Hopefully this SHOULD be the end of the delays and we can
all look forward to reading the second Moth-Man book this summer!
I shouldn't make promises, but I will anyway... NO MORE STALLING, YOU'LL GET THE BOOK IN JULY!! :)
05/05/10 A TEENSY-WEENSY, ICKLE-BICKLE DELAY
But, alas, nothing to get all worried about!
A Siren Song for the Stricken will still be released this month, so at most we're looking at its appearance less than a week or two later than anticipated! If your not already a member, join 'Moth's Delightfully Vampire-Free Freak Club' on Facebook to be updated with the latest as it happens!
Something else that might interest the moth-fans among you is the short story I'm aiming to write through May and June.
My lips are sealed regarding details at the moment, but you may get a sneak peek at the finished article (or, heck, the whole story itself) sometime later this year, so keep watching this space ;).
16/03/10 HALLELUJAH!!
Because, after 14 months of hard graft, drafts, re-drafts, edits, re-edits, re-re-edits, blood, sweat and tears, 'A Siren Song for the Stricken' is finished at last! With the manuscript currently en-route to the publishers the wheels can really get rollin'-- and that late April/ early May release is looking a dead cert!
To mark this, quite frankly, wonderful occasion, I've gone to the liberty of adding/updating a few character pages for your viewing pleasure. Hope you enjoy :)
27/01/10 WHERE'S A LITERAL IDEAS FACTORY WHEN YOU NEED ONE?
I ask because, with A Siren Song for the Stricken about two months from completion, I'm going to be looking to the charming medium of short stories to fill the void between Book Two and Book Three of my Moth-Man Saga. Since the works of Brad Fear are still to be considered something of 'cult status', I've decided to make a lunge for mainstream by entering a string of 2010's fictional writing competitions.
Though I will be unable to publish these works in the meantime (due to competition rules), I will keep you informed on any exciting news and, not necessarily through me, you may be able to read one of my numerous non-Moth related tales later in the year.
On a side note, observant folks will notice I'm hosting my Looking Glass artwork via ImageShack: this is simply because I couldn't get it to a high enough resolution on moth-man.co.uk. Through them you'll be able to zoom in close for finer quality- which is particularly dandy if you're short-sighted.
