AN INTERVIEW WITH JACK DAW
Question 1: If you had to describe yourself in five words, what would they be?
DAW: Accustomed, circumspect, sage, observant and mindful. With as many years as I've had, there should be many more.
Question 2: What makes your skin crawl?
DAW: Knowing the truth. The world is more savage now than it has ever been. The value of human life means nothing to the avaricious and the depraved. One might argue that I'm envious of the ordinary men and women who don't live with such knowledge.
Question 3: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be?
DAW: Somewhere as far from ''civilisation'' as possible. Perhaps such tranquility would restore my lost faith.
Question 4: Which famous role-model, living or dead, do you most idolise?
DAW: Galileo Galilei. Every revolution in the field of science since is owed, in part, to his mind. It's heartbreaking that such recent revolutions have become instruments for the corrupt.
Question 5: Any advice for our readers?
DAW: Always ask questions. 'Truth' is an over-exploited word. Acceptance should be earned, not given.
