The first installment of the five-part 'Moth-man Saga'.  'A Macabre Myth of a Moth-man' takes place in the year 2001, on an alternate time-line (where, in 1944, one unfortunate Polish scientist finds himself stung by a bee when he shouldn't have been).   Outwardly, things don't seem too different.  That is, of course, until you meet this tale's main players...

Meet Moth.  He's half of his name sake and half social misfit.

Moth's been a bit ticked off.  See, one year ago he was locked up in a lab by certain sciencey people.  They stuck all kind of needles in him and shone all these lights in his eyes.  This wasn't as bearable as it sounds.

Luckily he was able to escape.  Unfortunately for the sciencey guys (and their fat-wallet bosses), Moth's not one to let by-gones be by-gones.  Now, him and his mate Ozzy (a quite unpleasant thing of green skin, yellow eyes and lots and lots of teeth), have made it their personal mission to seek out some good ol' fashioned retribution.

Meet Nina Hart.  She's a barmaid who wants to work with animals.

Nina's been roped into helping a few friends film their up-and-coming 'Moth-man' documentary.  Alas, she doesn't believe in such silly 'urban myths', but she needs something to take her mind off her ex-boyfriend.  Even if it does mean a wild goose chase.

Unluckily for Nina, she's about to have her fragile world blown open by the ugly-as-sin truth.

Looks like Moth and Nina have enough on their plates as it is... and that's not even including the gas-mask wearing cult, the ticking, blade-fingered robot or the old man with all those crows flying around him...

'A MACABRE MYTH OF A MOTH-MAN' is the union of urban fantasy and noir- a twisted tale of a seemingly clumsy and clueless anti-detective.

Watch out... this ain't gonna be pretty.
